We have amongst us a guy who can hypnotize anyone (well not anyone, but for the shake of argument...) with a sanp of his fingers. LEt's use it.

We'll send Terran to Vivendi, first of all and he'll hypnotize the whole management. So anytime they hear KQ IX they will bark with joy. Thus 1 problem solved.

Then we'll take him to HSBC and in a metter of minutes we'll have the AGS National Charity Fund. And not only that. It will be full of money.

Furthermore we'll take hime to any creator not finishing their games and hypnotize all of them. Thus in a matter of months we'll have all the games we've been waiting for. The Gift of Aldora. The ledgend of the blue lagoon, A Tale of Two kingdoms, the next ESPER game.

Just wait and you'll see. We must make Terran our friend! Our best friend!

On on whole other issue hypnotizeing might be difficult, but with a little use of phychology you can manipulate pretty easilty most people. I have a very simple example. I have a friend who is a hypochondriac. But in a serious case! She washes her hands at least 20 times a day. Seriously. But it was fairly easy to create a black out to her. I just told her: " Well, do you know that when yoyur hands are dirty you go to wash them. The first thing you do is that you open the tap. Then you put the soap on. And in the end what do you do? You close the tap. Thus all the germs from your hands go back to your hands!"
Well let me tell you that whe ended up using medical alcohol to wash her hands. The one that they have in the hospitals.
I have to admit that was fun. I wish though I could find a way of making her flash anytime I wanted. That would be very nice...

Back to the point. It's funny that people don't really talk about the occult, hypnotising and similar stuff, but that is everywhere.
I believe that anyone who's been using the net for a while has a somewhat e-book library with books of that type. Also what i've noticed not all get read and used, no matter how amazing they could be.

My (new) point is that a lot of these hypno, self-hypno books have a lot of self improving material that a lot of people could be using and improve their lives, and with selfimproving i mean self improving in ANY area, be that physical or mental.

I want to learn this skill! Are there books? Which one is good? Think of the fun me and my brother/girlfriend/friends could have!!! No worry, I wouldn't share this with someone who I don't trust... and I reckon you can't really be hypnotized if you're tense or alarmed in a way. I can't relax among people I don't trust, that way I mean. Oh my God, if this is really possible I could do so much good!!!

One of my friends back in the day used to be able to hypnotize people. I never really believed it, and since I never allowed it to be done to me, I can't really confirm or deny it really working. What he did was get one of us in a dark room, shine a flashlight in the persons face and just talk all creepy-like.

It appeared to work on multiple people, we made one guy only able to say the word monkey, and other stupid shit like that. Unfortunately, no women were around to take advantage of.....

Really though, I've heard that "proffesional" therapy hypnotists can seriously mess with your brain, implanting ideas with suggestions. Bad stuff man.

Well Helm, not so long ago in countries pretty near to us people used to put hypnosis in the occult basket. Some people had even put accupuntcure and other "skills" in the same basket, but as we all know it, definitions of something change during time. As people get more accustomed to things they tend to put it in their comfort zone and accept it as an everyday thing. You shouldn't be surprised if after a few dozens of years you see things in our reality as a normal thing whereas today you would associate it to crazy psychists, and socialy uncredible shamans and people alike.
If there is a need to define occult, in my eyes i would define it as something that uses more than average use of the mind, which i think is something we should all be doing and should be researched more professionally.

My Psychology teacher said Hypnotism IS real, but it won't work if the person being hypnotized doesn't want to.

I don't really object to the act, if she really, really was okay with it. You probably know her well enough to know that. It's a little creepy, but if she was fine with it then whatever.
