When I was a little kid we had a sand box. It was a quicksand box. I was an only child... eventually.

I've never seen that before. *laughs*
Man, I wonder if they ever realized how naughty it can sound or if they just never thought it could be taken that way before doing the show.  8)

I think it would be naive to think that it was all some kind of accident.
Once I killed a man. His name was Mario, I think. His brother Luigi was upset at first, but adamant to continue on the adventure that they started together.

Someone was telling me about this clip about a month ago.

After seeing it, here's my theory:

This was never broadcast as an actual episode, the cast was probably just playing around and decided to film a naughty scene for kicks.

*shrugs* I wouldn't be surprised , surely there must be something else out there like that...Oh yeah , I don't know it's a stupid "joke" or not , but there's this thing somewhere online that claims The Cat In The Hat is about the kids first sexual "awakening" or some thing and supposedly , according to that stupid article , the story is about them being in an incestuous relationship with each other and the cat acts as a sex teacher or something and that's what the story means by "tricks" . The fish is still considered the voice of reason in that article though.
Plus if you read up on self-proclaimed christians' beliefs , alot of them seem to think that anything like Harry Potter , Magic The Gathering , and Jar Jar Binks is the work of the devil.
So , in my opinion it's not really that big a leap to think that maybe they released it without realising how it might sound.

But I really should've thought what kingsized thinks too.  :-[ :D

"To even think otherwise would be silly" I disagree.
Please see above post again for reasons why I think it's not silly to think something like that.

Thanks though , everyone , for making it clear to me that it _was_ done on purpose.
Again , I just hadn't thought of it from
another standpoint or whatever when I first saw it.
Sorry.  :-[ :P

"You'll find that most christians don't really have an opinion on H.P (or Magic or Jar Jar), other than that it's silly and for kids."
Sorry , I don't know alot of Christians offline myself and I do know that not all of them are silly like that , but most seem to live up to the "bible thumping magic-hating" , ect. stereotype.
Again , when I state words like most , I know that not all are like that...
Even though it's true that they seem to only show the extreme ones on tv and the extreme ones can be found online too, I speak from experiance (sp.) when I state that alot of them are like that.  At least one exp. was "irl" and the others were online.  Just look at  Harry Potter fan sites' guestbook entries / hatemail section and you'll find that , ( unless they're lying about their religion...but why would somebody do that? ) , many make a big deal about it.
I could understand calling it unfair if I had said "all" instead of "a lot" but I didn't.
I've even got some family that are Christian but they're nice people ...I don't know how some of them feel about things like Harry Potter...except for Brenda.  She seems pretty open minded about things like Pokemon...but I haven't asked her opinion on things like Harry Potter...yet.  More precisely , she didn't seem as interested as I was in chatting about Pokemon , but she didn't start going "omg you're evil!" and crap either. *laughs*
I'm sorry if I upset anybody.  :(

I think it's pretty clear it was intentional.  Whether it was aired is another story.  Does anyone know by any chance?
Also, that Cat in the Hat stuff is surely complete crap.

Funny as hell ;D. Must be intentional. It can't be otherwise. To even think otherwise would be silly

I found an interview with one of the actors which explain why it was made:
QuoteAndrew: The Christmas tape that Thames produced, the naughty Rainbow which has been featured on TV Offal where Victor Lewis-Smith said it was the "unscreened pilot."

Geoffrey: Victor Lewis-Smith or someone else…

Andrew: Graham Norton?

Geoffrey: You just reminded me, that's right, yes. The VT department of each ITV company, every Christmas had a competition to enter all the outtakes from their particular companies programme out put, and see which ones were the funniest. But ours wasn't an outtake, we specially did it. It was specially scripted and we did it and I never saw it! We did it and Thames won it, but what they actually won, I don't know. But I never saw the video. I can't remember much about it except for Zippy with a banana.

And a random quote from some site which possibly explains how it became public
QuoteIn fact, the sketch was performed simply for the amusement of the cast and crew, and would have been lost to history, were it not for the OBA 1 Christmas tape put together by Thames TV engineers. The same video features a Star Trek parody, outtakes from The Kenny Everett Show and Spike Milligan saying, "Merry Christmas, even if you're Jewish."

Hopefully someone will find this thread when they google for the clip.

Quotealot of them seem to think that anything like Harry Potter , Magic The Gathering , and Jar Jar Binks is the work of the devil.

I know what you mean, but it's a bit unfair to say "a lot". People think this because they only hear what's on TV (Which is always the extremists). You'll find that most christians don't really have an opinion on H.P (or Magic or Jar Jar), other than that it's silly and for kids. But then again, "a lot" of non-christians think that as well...
