Yesterday, I officially signed on the dotted line with my girlfriend of four years :-)
I'm pretty happy about it and just wanted to share the news. (nod)

Me and the wife did the same thing, and just had a faux wedding ceremony at a restaurant with friends...Too insanely expensive here to do it at a wedding center thingy...

Yeah we haven't done any kind of ceremony/party yet but we will do something casual, probably nearer xmas.
Apparently yesterday was also a particularly lucky day to get married, according to one calendar or another :-)
And no immediate honeymoon plans yet, but we'll do something. We did Taiwan in August, so we're calling that our 'premoon' :-D

Congrats! People are getting engaged and married left and right -- so I joined in on the fun and presented a power ring to Magenta, my girlfriend of five years, just last month. A week later our baby girl (http://i68.tinypic.com/cthdf.jpg) arrived.
