Yay! You people now are a recognised community.
We were a recongnized community before.
But still, cool!
Hmmm... Maybe I should do a paper about us to... /me smells the sweet smell of an A
/me notes that he will probably get a F
Yeah, I have to do a paper on youth in communities and what attracts them to it, seeing that people here are of all ages and I asked my teacher if I could do it on AGSers instead of doing it on something like surfers or gothics...
The paper will be really short. Just mention that everybody hangs out here just to see me pop up every five months and exercise psuedo-wit.
Then we all go back to asking who Yahtzee was and accidentally posting links to pornography.
I've already done a comprehensive statistical analysis of the AGS community. I did it in year 10.
Sure the deomographic has changed but I WAS DID IT FIRST0R!!1!!!!!
well, doing a project on agsusers, would be like doing a project on people living in new york. there are all kinds of people here!
Well that's why I did my study. It was a simple statistical analysis of demographic. It's changed somewhat since then, but it was still interesting.
My research question is "what attracts youth to AGS". Of course everyone here is different. It would be boring if you were identical.
What is the cut off age for a youth in your project? I feel like I'm about 18 years old on the inside and playing adventure games today brings back memories of yesterdays. Maybe this is what I find attractive about AGS. It's kinda like being a youth again. When I was younger I always wanted to make a game... and now I'm young and free again. I work on my game after work and all my worries and concerns fade away. I think AGS gives me back some of my youth.... be creative, no pressures and no rules...

Making adventure games is like making a movie.
Exept that you don't have to wurry about the F.A.A. and bitching actors that get paid a 10.000 dollars a word and live in a trailer the size of the white house and you have to talk trough the personal assistant if they do something wrong...like having white powder on the nose.
But for the rest it's the same.
I think it's the "point-&-click" fever. I got that in 96. daddy got his own computer and he showed lots of point-&-click games. king's quest 5 and 6 are my favorites. I like the monkey islandgames to.
JetXL, if you make movies like that.. You need to find another day job...
