Title: I'm Selling 20 GameCube Games on eBay.
Post by: Stupot on Tue 15/07/2008 17:53:38
I just thought you guys might be interested in seeing what I've got on offer.
Not expecting too much back from them, but I deliberately set the Start Prices at a fairly optimistic £2.49 so that any games which don't sell first time round I am going to bung together with my console.

Have a nose, se if there is anything you fancy.

I bought a GameCube with no A/V cable plus Need for Speed for $10. Haven't used it yet. Fun stuff.

Ha, that's almost a xerox of my own Gamecube collection! Unfortunately that means that I already own those titles that I would have otherwise bought. :-\

You should make more on eBay, though, rather than trading them into GAME or such. I was offed ONE (1) whole euro for a mint condition copy of Animal Crossing! 60c cash value! A guy standing beside me at the counter offered me ten euro cash, so I sold it to him.

Yeah I would have given you at least about £7 cash, £8 trade in my shop Limpy!

Stupot, some of those games should fetch a nice price!

I wish you were in the states. I'd buy a couple of those games for my girlfriend's brother.

I agree, it's always best to sell directly to the buyer. Game shops rip you off. ;)

Roll up, roll up.
A little over a day left to get your bids in!
Hurry Hurry - sale ends soon.

Maybe I should give CJ a couple of quid for this advertising space.

Enter the Matrix
2002 FIFA World Cup

Ha, not surprised they got no bids! Fifa 2002 is ooh about 1.99 or less in my shop, and Enter the matrix is about a fiver, but about as popular as my arse after I've had a shit and not wiped yet.

Hehe, I can understand FIFA (they churn a new one out every other week), but I was surprised about the Matrix.  I personally really enjoyed that game and really loved the way it coincided with the plot of Reloaded.

Anyway, here are the final results:

as above plus...

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles - £5.62
Pikmin - £4.48
Star Wars Rogue Leader - £3.20
Medal of Honor Rising Sun - £2.49
Lost Kingdoms - £2.49

Remaining unsold...
Super Monkey Ball

Giving me a grand total of £98.96
for 16 games that sold.
Not quite my £100 target, ever-so close.

Well, it's just that a game like the Matrix is really common; my shop gets someone attempting to sell me their copy of The Matrix on some format or other every week without fail!

*Note to self: Stop using the word "format" with customers. Most of them stare at me blankly until I say "which console?". Jesus.

I got mine through the door today. Not played it yet, but everything seems in order.  ;D

Thank you Stupot

I'm glad you're happy Indie...
I got an email yesterday from one lady who was extremely happy at the speed by which her copy of Mortal Kombat was delivered, but to her (and her son's) dismay the disc wasn't in the case.

I thought she was trying to pull a fast one at first because I ALWAYS check... I mean who in their right mind doesn't... but MKDA must have slipped passed me somehow, and of course it happened to be the only one that had no disc...  but not to worry, the disc was in my format console (:P), and I sent it straight her way.

I thoroughly deserve negative feedback, but I'm hoping she'll spare me.

And you were going to do that to me too... I bet the only reason you actually sent me the disc was because I could label you as a thief on the forums  :P

Anyway I don't want to get one of those "leave it to PM" posts, but I started to play the game today and I think it is great. I love how "Zelda-esk" it is. I think I got a pretty good deal from you and feel a little guilty.

[/personal thank you]
