Flamboyant fitness guru Richard Simmons has been cited by authorities in Arizona for allegedly "bitch slapping" a man in an airport for poking fun at his exercise videos. Simmons, 55, was ticketed for misdemeanor assault after allegedly striking the man across the face while in line at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on Wednesday night. Sergeant Lauri Williams says, "He apparently said, 'Hey everybody, it's Richard Simmons, let's drop our bags and rock to the '50s,'" in reference to a series of his well-known videos. Williams adds, "Mr. Simmons took offense and said he had to 'bitch slap' him." The man told police that he wanted to press charges against Simmons, who was cited but allowed to board a plane to Las Vegas, Nevada.

Okay, I feel sorry for this poor guy, but Richard Simmons has really put it to him, so that he'd have no comeback or anything... lets analyse some things he could have done:

a) He strikes back, and is forever known as the guy who beat up a little girly man.
b) He sues him, as he is doing, yet he is forever known as the guy who got bitch-slapped by a little girly man.
c) He does nothing and is forever known as the gguy who got bitch-slapped by a little girly man.
d) He gets a female friend to beat Richard Simmons up, and is forever known as the guy who got bitch-slapped by a little girly man who needs a chick to stand up for him.
-or-
e) Stand there and take it like a man... a man, who got bitch-slapped by a little girly man.

Seriously, the poor bastard is now, forever lame...

I'm sure they guy figured he'd make a settlement check by pickin' a fight with a 'celebrity' (a term I use rather loosely for Richard 'Dick' Simmons).

I don't understand what is offensive about what the man said.   Maybe because he called the girly man "Richard Simons".  I would be deeply ofended if someone called me that  :.  

Also I would add a bit to option b as follows ...

b) He sues him, as he is doing, yet he is forever known as the guy who got bitch-slapped by a little girly man and took a bunch of the the little girly man's money.

Personally I would have chosen option a.

I agree it is abusive to call someone a girly man, its the kind of thing a thug would call someone so he could get in a fight. Right on Ricvhard Simmons, or then again why waste your life on someone so abusive.
