Do you remember when I was asking for a laptop? Well as I mentioned (I think), there was a sound engineer at the concert so I got a brilliant recording of the concert! yay me!

I think that the concert went very well and in addition to the concert, we got along really well with Neil, which led to a commission for a choral work (do you remember me asking for poetry ideas? ).

Bottom line: No matter what I do, I always end up asking here.

That was certainly interesting...
I found this music difficult to listen to, but not in a bad way... the dissonant sounds created a lot of tension and strange sensations, which made for an uncomfortable--but still engaging--experience ^_^

Awesome! A very effective piece! The strings blended really well to create some really nice textures. Great job!

Yes, overall I thought it was very appealing. A mix of classical orchestration and classic movie scoring. It reminded me a lot of old Russian composers, and their use of simplicity to give a feeling of unease and horror. There were a few parts that I felt were too bare, but the actual PLAYING of this song (as well as recording ) was very well done.
