In preparation for releasing the public demo of Captain Disaster in Death Has a Million Stomping Feet (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=46085.0), I've also re-edited my original short stories featuring the character, reformatted them to make them more ereader friendly, and included a short essay on the process of taking the character out of the realm of short fiction and into a point and click adventure game. The stories are comedy science fiction with a lot of parody, manic wordplay and general silliness - I wrote the first episode back in 1997 I think, can't remember when the 11th and (so far) final episode was written.
For those interested, it costs £0.99 and can be found here (http://www.lulu.com/shop/david-seaman/captain-disaster-the-compact-ebook-edition/ebook/product-20192861.html).
Intriguing titles, Captain :) Would buy one out of curiousity if it was physical, and in a shop nearby...

Aw man, and they told me that digital publication was the future... (wrong)
There is a paperback version with the same stories, but looking back it's not edited as well. Amazon yes, local book store near you... never I'm afraid.
lulu.com (http://www.lulu.com)?

Don't ask me, I didn't name the site! ???
Haha, what a coincidence :D
I hadn't seen the site you were selling it on and was suggesting lulu as a way to get physical copies into people's hands ;)
Oh right! I do actually have the stories in a paperback collection (along with some other stories), it's on Amazon but no-one buys it anyway. Getting your books into print is one thing, getting them into high street shops is quite another (at least, that's how I see if from my own experience). :=
