On a similar rant, why is it that Pixar keep making great blockbuster films?!? Could it kill them to make at least ONE DUD?!?

At least all the other studios have the right idea:

Yeah, Benetton had an enormous budget...Ã,  :P
Exactly, with enough money you could win anything, just look at most soccer teams, or Nascar (which is feckin mind numbingly boring, they go round, and round and round)
The only real sports are where the teams are all in the same boat like our national sports, Hurling and Gaelic Football (much like aussie rules) there are Madrid and Barcelona teams too. They operate on the idea that all of the players play because they want to, they aren't payed at all but still they play, and it leads to fantastic matches and eventually some true ledgends being created. As a result of this, no one county in Ireland continuously wins titles, and that means that every match is different, and you can't predict the outcome ( unlike in F1 where you just flip a two headed coin and pick heads for Michael Schumacher) Even the Bookies have a hard time making money.
I know it would be impossible to do this in F1, but a scenario where the teams all have similar budgets would lead to different outcomes. The cars should all use manual gearboxes, as it's too easy to use a playstation like interface to control a race car that handles so well, it's time the skill returned to motorsport.

By the way, Jackie Stewart recently commented about Michael Schumacher's driving on Fifth Gear on channel 5, and he said that he makes so many mistakes in f1 every race, that if he were driving a car ten years behind, he'd be losing (even against cars and drivers of ten years ago) I know you might say that he was racing ten years ago, but he has lost skill in the long run. Last but not least, have you noticed the way Michael scumacher has lost all emotion for the sport? after winning his first race he looked really happy, after winning the championship he looked like a stick was up his ass (no offence man, but it's gotta get boring someday) 8)

Eeer... I was being sarcastic. The powerfull team during the early championships of Schumi was Williams, not Benetton...
Are you guys ready? Let' s roll!

While on the subject of Schumachers, I'd really like someone to hit Joel Schumacher with an f1 car going no less than 120 mph.  Destroy him before he can ruin another superhero franchise, please!

I like Rally sports a lot more than F1. There skills get involved. Drivers of the same car models can be in position 1 and position 10. It's teamwork
