I made this so those that have a hard time with virus etc can have something that would be easy for them to use .
I know most here in this forum would have no use for this but maybe you can give it to someone to help them out .
It will fit on a floppy .
You can see in the screenshot the buttons . the small buttons when clicked will tell them what the program is they can download and install and a link to the programs website .the big buttons , well you can see what they do . lol

I'm sorry I uploaded the wrong one . fix now .

There seems to be enough screen space for a brief blurb about each.  Most people that could find the program useful (and it very well could be) won't have any idea what A2 or Stinger are. And Avast, isn't that something a pirate says?  ;)

Something like this with perhaps a "General Information" with the basics on spyware or viruses and some explanation of what these things are and what they do (along with an auto-launch installation button) would definitely be something I'd consider handing to someone.  Then again, I make my own autorun start x.htm type CD's for friends currently.

I'm working on a new gui interface that will do just what you ask :)
And adding a lot more to it .
You can see it but my mouse is over  Avast link.(it turns red )

You should make a spinoff and include all the programs in the Freeware sticky. That'd rule!

Grisoft AVG is an outstanding antivirus program. It is so good that I got rid of my Norton. AVG used with spybot and Adaware (free version) will destroy any pop up adds. Basically I run  Ad a ware then Spybot and finally AVG. When finished your computer is super fast again. Assuming that it was once fast.

Just a note about AVG anti-virus and Windows XP:

I used to use AVG for a while, and yes, it does work great on most version of Windows. However, if you're running Windows XP, I suggest not using AVG, as sometimes the way it intergrates itself into the bootup files, scanning, etc... it can cause corruption in some of the important systems files and then you'll often have problems starting up Windows, or when it does run, you may have various problems (such as some programs not working properly, copy and paste no longer working, sound card not wanting to work, mouse and keyboard functions acting strangely, etc...), and in fact most times I could no longer use AGS properly when AVG was running.

Once I Un-Installed AGV on my XP system, everything works great again, so now I've since switched over to AntiVir: http://www.free-av.com/Ã,  Ã, and no problems with it so far.

PS: You should not be running more than one Anti-Virus program on the same computer at the same time, as multiple anti-virus programs running at the same time will most likely cause conflicts, extra system slowdown, extra strain on RAM and system resources, and you may get one anti-virus program "thinking" the other anti-virus program may be a virus (therefore false reports).
