ICQ sucks. AIM does, too. MSN probably will.

The Bedminster Incident

Yes, we have this CCTV stuff here in Germany, too.
Some people who caught the signal found out that the people behind the monitors like to zoom into windows of nearby appartments. And what's even more shocking, everyone knew--except the people.

So, everyone: It's not about just some private data that is collected via the internet (and yes, it IS collected!) but about more. This ICQ Inc. stuff is just a part of the whole process (and no, this is not a conspiracy theory, I'm just saying there is a general movement towards this particular direction), but it's a part where one can do something to show that one does notice what those people do with one's data. And that this is not okay.

The problem is, there is no "in-between" this time. None at all. So it's about choosing one's side also.

Things are always so complicated.

This morning, I passed a kidney stone. At least, that's what the doctors told me. I personally thought it was a nanobot passed through my system to collect credit card data stored in my colon.

The world is a scary place, my friend.

Oh no!

Now the internet knows I live in Troy and I'm 24 years old!

What other personal information are you telling the internet? And if you're willing to put it in your profile then you're willing to let other people read it so... What's the big privacy issue?

You live in Troy?  Man - I'm sorry.  Is it the bad part, or the worse part???

It's 2 minutes from RPI... So for me it's the part right near my first job where I got to work on Plan of Attack and right near my second job where I get to work on GBA and DS games... So at the moment, there is no bad part of Troy for me.

Plus I'm 1 minute from the one and only I Love NY Pizza [which is the best] and 30 seconds from Vanilla Bean! Hooray for me!
