Hi, I am going to put a 12v engine on my trike I rode when I was 3. I have some problems. The spot to hold my batteries was t5o small, so do you think I should take my handle bars from a snowblower and put wheels on and a bottom thing and add a piece of oak  wood on each side so I have brakes and turn or do the trike. And any ideas for it at all. please don't tell me to make it fly like idiots at school or put a viper motor on like idiots at school. I am being serious. If i could put a motor on it  would put a 302. I mean come on. Alright but seriously. Have any ideas.

Sorry, I just think this is a strange idea....

"Why I kill you with"..... says me"Now Ben say sorry" says my mom. I say"Ok G,I was just playing  and I am sorry for threatening to kill you with the saw I am using to cut the wheels for it, No I am seriously doing that. If I make the handlebar one.

It's actually pretty hard to understand what you want. But you seem eager about it, so...well, good luck

I am just asking if you have any ideas and which idea you think I should choose.

This is a case of posting about rocket science in a model train forum.. ok that's a bit of an extreme comparison, but seriously, how much do you think we know about this stuff? Find a good go-cart forum to help you out. It sounds cool, really, and maybe someone here would be able to give advice, but it'd be much more likely in other places.

Man, for a while I thought you were going to start making interpretable posts.
Once I killed a man. His name was Mario, I think. His brother Luigi was upset at first, but adamant to continue on the adventure that they started together.

What does interpretable mean. I decided to use the handlebars as a frame. I bought somewheels and I am about to put a board on it with my grandpa. then we will put the other set of wheels on, the motor, the batyteries then the oak wood on the side, so I can pull the right one and go right and the left one and go left. then both so I stop.

Capable of being understood.

Somehow this doesn't surprise me, but I'm still cracking up.  :D

if you're going to fit an electric motor you're also gonna need somewhere to mount batteries AND a speed controller (expensive to buy, hard to build), then some way of controlling in which direction the motor travels, you also don't really want to attach the motor straight to the wheels unless you wanna take off really fast and end up burning the motors out, so you'll want to fit some kind chain and gear system.
fitting a small 2 or 4-stroke petrol engine will probably be much easier and take up less space...
if you really want to do the electric thing i'd suggest looking out for one of those electric cars they make for kids (either go to a scrapyard, look out for a cheap one in your local paper or if a kid has one that lives near you, wait until he's not looking and steal it) that way all you have to do is bust it open and remove all the electronics and then adapt them to fit your trike.
OR you could google for the numerous roboteering sites (stuff like Robot Wars and the far less superior and rather quite rubbish BattleBots) that may be able to help, there are also quite a few books about this kind of thing, and these kind of items (such as petrol engine bumper cars) appear on ebay from time to time, the auctioneer might be willing to help you out (more so if you bid for and win his item)...

I have metal strips I can bend to mount batteries. I decided to go with lawnmower handle bar frame. I do not need a thing to control speed because I can just connect and disconnect bateries. I have a oldÃ,  car wire controller to reverse the polarity to go reverse. I have a big 12 volt motor beleive me not to big though. I have pullys and belts with set screws. I will put wood over the handle bar frame with tires. I will haVE 2 BY 4 mount on the side for brakes and steering. Do you think I have it covered. thank you for acualy posting some ideas. I have it partly built already. :)
