I was thinking about this driving home from work today. What celebrity would you like to spend a whole day with. I mean just hang out and do friend things, no sex involved.
I was having a hard time thinking of that person, but then i realized i would hang with Leonardo DiCaprio. He would make be better looking and i think we would have fun, plus i would like to talk to him about the making of Titanic.
Let's say you won a contest to hang out with a celeb of your choice..who would it be?
Johnny Depp. He's done some great films, he's an amazing actor, and hot. He seems totally mental as well, so hanging out outta be fun. I could ask him about Hunter S. Thompson and stuff.
Peter Kay - the man is a genius!
peter kay is a nob.
but i'd spend the day with Jean Reno, because he's not a nob, he's cool.
Most certainly Reese Witherspoon. I could spend the whole day staring at her. And if not that, I'd have a lot of things to ask her about.
I spend the day with Stan Lee and discuss the matters of the world while we played pong.
Joss Whedon- though it is rather hard to come up with the perfect activity to do with him, I'm thinking a bank job would be something to consider, especially if we could involve Amy Acker and Andy Hallett. Afterwards we would all go and spend our stolen cash at a California Pizza Kitchen and listen while Joss tells us tales from the 'Verse.

Seconded.
And I'd spend the day convincing him to tell more stories in the 'verse!! Don't let it die Joss!!
Peter Jackson... So I could steal his movie sekrits and special talentz!!!! PRECIOUS!
Ricky Gervais. We would have to take public transportation because he can't drive and freaks out above 25 mph.
Itinerary:
Mini golf
Lunch, tex-mex unless Ricky has another suggestion
Make a short film
Go for ice cream
André Tanneberger (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andr%C3%A9_Tanneberger)
I would interrogate him until he explained me all of his magic and methods.
Eddie Izzard. Possibly the smartest/funniest person alive today.
He could come as man or woman, I don't mind either.
I'd call Ricky Gervais if Eddie wasn't available, and after that I'd probably pick John Cleese. I don't see why I should hang out with a person an entire day if he wasn't funny.
Yes. I've got to agree with Andail. I'd like to ask Eddie why his new show is so mediocre.
No 'celeb' I'd like hanging out with.
But there's a dinner with Luc from Gorguts, Ron Jarzombek, Jim Matheos and some others I'd like to attend.
Yeah, I'm not big on celebrities, but if I were forced, it'd probably be Jim Jarmusch, Steve Coogan, Mitchell&Webb, Bill Murray or Jon Stewart.
Stretching the definition of celebrity a little maybe, but I think Will Wright would make an excellent dinner guest. I love reading or hearing interviews, he's so passionate about everything he does. And he's read 5 different books on every topic his games even remotely touch. He's a cool nerd.

Oh come on Helm, wouldn't you want to meet Roberta to tell her what you did last Mittens? :)

...and I'd spend the whole day talking to him as him until he killed me.

I think he's just trying to sound cool with the "celebs don't impress me" attitude.
For me it's Tom Wilkinson, I have so much to tell that man! :D

LimpingFish: What is the connection between Bruce Campbell and Frank Zappa? There was plenty of mention of Weasels Ripped my Flesh in If Chins Could Kill, I figured I had missed something.
On an unrelated note:
I would have liked to hang around the UMRK with Frank Zappa. If I could refrain myself from exploding into a fanatical frenzy, and keep hidden the fact that I have every one of his albums, all his movies, that I've done nearly all of my school reports about him, and that I've studied his music since I was twelve, I would give him a handshake and ask if he would like to play "King Kong", or whatever.
