Title: In need of some free music
Post by: on Tue 24/08/2004 23:58:16
Ok first off, i was pointed here by someone however if this is not appropriete for this forum then please accept my apologises and i'll swiftly dissappear! :) Also i wasnt sure if this was the right forum to post this to so again apologises in advance if this is in the wrong place.

I was informed by someone on another board that people here have links to free stock music, and also make free music for others. I hope this is true :) I'll explain what im after, so if anyone knows where to get this or would like to have a stab at creating something for me then that would be *very* much appreciated. Or you could just tell me to p*ss off :D

Ok, what im after is a 45 second track which is in the style of gameshow type music...has anyone seen countdown or heard the jeapordy music? It must have a kind of steady tick tock going on, perhaps with a simple chord progression in it...if that makes any sense. Its for a game where you have 45 seconds to think something up, so obviously as the music goes on it needs to get more frantic and finish at the 45 seconds where time is up. I hope that makes sense. So if anyone knows where to get that then that would be fantastic. I've tried looking on flash loop sites but there are just so many and none in the style that i need. Thanks.

Quite a relief to see a newcomer who is polite and eloquent.
Good luck with the music

thanks! Yes i know what it is like on other boards to have new people join who arn't polite. Anyway, seeing as no one has replied yet i  thought i'd release a little more info about the game, incase it sparks anyones interest. Here is some info about it - http://homepage.ntlworld.com/guybrush2001/gtp.htm

Thanks again, i'll keep looking around the free music loop sites anyway :)
