Inane Moderator Stories

I don't know if the job is ever funny, but I was wondering if there were any humorous stories of being a "moderator"?

Stories involving - you getting reported to yourself, or being PM'ed something like "Have you read what Pumaman wrote, I really think he should be banned!"

I enjoyed myself ENORMOUSLY as a moderator on the RON forums for a while... But in retrospect it wasn't very funny (even at the time) and it was certainly quite annoying for everyone. Probably for the best I got that taken off me...

I can't say there have ever been any particularly amusing things that have happened as a moderator... It's a HARD AND THANKLESS JOB!!!

Well, anyway, for the subject: The funniest thing I've ever seen as mods on other forums, is people missing the "reply" button and hitting "report to moderator" instead. Oh the laughs I had.

During my time as moderator on a forum, I rarely found it amusing.

It was pretty nice to be recognised as reliable and someone who could be depended upon, but it was certainly never funny.

I think the moderators here are doing a great job at keeping this community the way it is and having everything going so smoothly.

I never get to moderate anything, I think people are scared of me. I was one of 3 persons to gain access to a clan-server once though, and that was fun. blowing up campers, setting spawnkillers on fire, muting flamers, the usual. Funniest job I ever had.

I think the moderators here are moderately moderate at moderating

Well speaking of being moderated.  A friendly moderator decided to edit my post and add words that i never typed.

I wrote hats off to you, and AGA put in the part about Eric.  It wasn't me.  So if Mr. Colossal reads it, just know that it wasn't coming from me.

Plus, i don't think my post should have been edited just to add a comment like that.
