I didn't want to discriminate, I just wanted to state the fact that it's mostly 13 years old that do that. I'm not much older here anyways, so.... Nevermind, I edited my post. Sorry

So yeah, moderating CAN be fun, but it's mostly hard work, lots of clicking, locking, moving, and editing.

We too have a large sticky thread that says "READ HERE BEFORE POSTING, N00BSZ!!11" and yet we get people all the time asking questions like "How do I maek teh my game!??" and "BLARG!".

But I deal with it and TRY to be patient most of the time...

I was never a forum moderator, but I once became an OP on #K&P (The Klik&Play Channel) because um... of that one amazing adventure game I made, I guess.

Anyway, I never did much, but one time I finally got to kick+ban somebody, I right-click on the name on mIRC to do it and I kicked and ban the wrong person! And with my attention span to IRC, I didn't notice for a good couple of minutes.

How embarrasing.

heh, it's not funny when mods don't have the same ideas of how to control a forum. That is, when no forum rules exist.
I was sometime ago a mod, I think I was 14 then (and I believe the oldest active member was 21) and was more liberal and didn't like to lock too much threads and opened sometimes even threads up the other mod closed.....I was a bit stubborn and silly at that time....

Also more or less funny was that I had problems with the cookies but only with that forum so I couldn't do any actions like a mod can do and only post.

Someone who continues to hold a grudge against you for something that happened a year ago...

Now, it's not something like I punched this person in the face or ate their baby or anything, I just deleted a post they made... That's it... And they still hate me...

When is the last time someone here has held a grudge for that long? And was it for something substantial like... I dunno, being physically harmed? Or someone stealing something from you? Or was it for something as insignificant as deleting some ones and zeros off the internet?

People take the internet so seriously and then when they are angry demand that you don't take the internet so seriously... ARGH
