I remember having a huge crush on Guybrush Threepwood at 13 when I played Monkey Island 2. That's before they changed him to look scrawny and cartoony in Curse of Monkey Island.

Hahah...now that I think about it, there aren't a lot of female characters that stick out in Adventure games...

The ones that stick out in my head are Elaine Marley, Sophia Hapgood, maybe Princess Rosella (from KQ4).
I remember April Ryan (from The Longest Journey and Dreamfall) vaguely, but I don't remember her for anything in and of herself...her personality or actions don't stick in my mind.
Other than that...I had to google to find out that the protagonist of Syberia was Kate Walker, and I don't remember anything about her at all (except maybe she was overly dependant on her mobile phone, and seemed to generally be whiney about her predicament...hardly pleasant characteristics).
And...Queen Valanice? She seemed a fairly 1 dimensional mothery character.

I liked Elaine Marley (from Monkey Island 1 and 2) enough to do lots of sketches and drawings of her when I was younger.. perhaps that could be counted as a crush.

Nico Collard:  ona scale of one to ten... I'd give her one! :P

Plus, Nina Kalenkov from 'Secret Files: Tunguska' was pretty hot... possibly the nicest arse in adventure games.

What about Laverne form Day of the Tentacle?  8)

I had a kind of a crush when I played the german adventure game Jack Keane, and saw Amanda for the first time. (Inside a dressing room, not wearing much...)

And then there's always Mona Sax in Max Payne :-*

Mona Sax was lovely albeit a little "off the peg"

April Ryan ruined TLJ for me by being generally unlikeable.

LOL, random. Yes its wrong....in a good way  ::) We were playing Dead or Alive beach volleyball the other night which has a sexy 5 minute opening video, that's orgasmic. But only cos it's high res sexy animation  := Besides Lara, and never experiencing many high res games in the day, I only had a few pixels and some box-art to admire, but these were my favourite ladies:

Wow - Teenagent! That's a cult adventure game here in Poland! I'd argue the most notable Polish adventure game, though I'm afraid it loses quite a bit in translation (and without voice-overs).

Not a strict adventure game but I've always found Jade from Beyond Good and Evil pretty crushworthy. Freud would probably say it's her motherly element, I think it's her haircut.

Plus she's French... uhh... sort of. Planet Hillys is NEAR France right?

There's also something about Morgan LeFlay that I found very attractive... extreme professional competence mixed with an emotional vulnerability, I think that's a winning formula. I also think Nikki Rapp's voice is adorable which made things pretty awkward when she played the boy emperor in the next Sam and Max season...  :-\
