Not being Japanese I'm not sure that they exist. You may be able to do a google search tho.

Yeah there used to be a lot of stock of it here when it was released, I just ignored it as I never owned a Mega Drive.

Oh yeah.. Mega CD.
Its a cd-player for Sega Megadrive.

I was thinking about getting one of those when they came out, but it felt like a complete waste of money.

They totally exist, and I totally understand nothing when I play them.

That's an FM-Towns emulator running a MI2 iso. You might be able to aquire the iso through less than legal means, the emulator should be easy to get hold of through google. Can't remember the url I'm afraid.

Roughly:
"Then who the hell keeps order on the island?"
"Then who eats the donuts and exerts brutality over the homeless?"
"Please stop! I only just bought this coat!"
"If you don't want me to get angry, put me down right now." (lit. "If you don't want to meet painful eyes...")

"I'm thinking of chartering a ship and heading over to another island."

^_^

Not so. A lot of the insults had to be changed when the game was being translated into french and whatnot. Since Japanese is a very different language and culture, I would assume that a lot of insults had to be rewritten. I mean, they don't have sheesh kebobs(sp) over there.

I wish the same care was taken when translating from Japanse to English

They only had to change two of the insults which the translators refused to translate because they were too insulting. One involving parents and one involving farmers if I recall correctly. It's mentioned in one of the gamedev magazines and on mixnmojo if you're curious. As for the shish kebab I assume they just replaced it with another fast food.

Japanese insults:

1. "You're a cowardly dog, swordmaster-san"
2. "You are a disgrace to your entire family, swordmaster-san"
3....

I ran out of material there. Perhaps some combos?
