Title: Just my luck!
Post by: Developer on Sun 17/10/2004 23:06:34
I found an artist for my game, then his computer had problems and got broken. Then I found another artist thats having problems with his PC too. I mean does my project make computers brake? Oww, I really need to get an artist ASAP, its for a fan game I've been working on for ages. If you would like to know more please PM me I really need you if you are an artist.  :'(

Yeah, you just posted for help, but, no offence... do you imagine every member posting in Gen Gen forum for help? the first page may possibly be full of newbies demmanding help. Gen gen is "for anything else, form football to the last political developements" there is a specific forum for demmanding help, read the rules, no exceptions can be made, sorry mate.

On the other hand... there is another way to "demmand help" even if that demmand is in the correct forum. Do you think some of the old and most experienced members are going to abandon their projects for helping a newbie "who is making a fangame"? People interested would need more information, about the plot, the graphic style, the team... Don't worry, nobody is going to stole your ideas, and you can allways keep the mistery without just saying "a fangame".

Well first off I've been around here for 3 years, and know AGS very well. And I never give out info unless someone PMs me. But thanks for lending a hand. :D

So why did you only register less than 3 weeks ago?  And if you've been around that long, don't you know forum ettiquette better? And why do you need an artist when your icons under your avatar say that you do backgrounds and characters yourself? Maybe you have valid answers to these questions, but when you don't say anything about your project and you make claims that have no evidence to support them then don't be surprised if no-one PMs you to find out more! You could at least say what its a fangame OF!
