World map... lost!

Hi. It seems that the world map that CJ created some months ago got lost in the middle of thounsands of messages. Would it be possible to pin in the forum the address to it?

The idea was cool, but all the rush and all the hype lasted just a dozen messages.

Nowadays you get to it from the Links page on the website - perhaps it should have a more prominent position?

I liked it at the top of the forums but it, naturally, can't be there all the time.  Maybe towards the bottom of the http://www.agsforums.com/forums.shtml page?

Sort of on the same subject, I've been tossing around the idea of placing the markers on an Earth-skin for Celestia (3d space-viewer thingy) but figure nobody here is geeky in quite the same way I so it would be pointless.

I like the AGS world map, but too bad it couldn't be larger with a zoom feature. Where i posted in the north east United States, became a giant blur, because so many flags were posted there.

I couldn't even see myself in the mix of red and green flags.

edit: never mind, i see now there is a zoom, which i missed before

There isn't a zoom for the middle though..  You can't get to that little blur in/near Oklahoma where me, netmonkey, and bluke4x4 are. I just found the cleverness in me to move my name so I could copy the image to clipboard and make it big enough to read though.

I just noticed one thing... There are only two persons in southern finland who use ags. I've seen others high up, where there are mostly smaller towns... But well who am I to wonder... I'm just a stupid farm-boy

The thing that surprises me most though, is that only x0z is from Helsinki. I mean, come on! 500 000 to 1... or how 'bout this 5 000 000 to 16...

Darn right about that, i have had to move to the bass straight just to get some breathing room, and the weather there is terrible.

Prof. Frink: Well, now you see what we all need.   Some sort of Tiger location map thingy -flaven-. We can all log on and check where spotted tigers are on a New World Tiger map and take neccesary precautions.
Just don't get the maps confused, cause that could lead to the running, and the clawing and the hey Heyyy thats my spleeeeen.
