Laughing can get me in trouble one of these days...

Here's my problem:

As a college student, I'm constantly walking through parking lots, areas of high traffic, etc. on campus. Now, a LOT of guys there like to absolutely BLAST their music, but for some reason, whenever I walk by a car doing that, I start laughing out of control.

I really don't get it. Am I somehow nervous and this is my body's natural response? I don't really think it's all that funny, but I can't help laughing my ass off. Trying to suppress the laugh only makes it worse, and I CONSTANTLY get dirty looks from these rough looking guys.

I dunno.

My inclination is usually to snigger a little. Maybe constant exposure to the stuff has exacerbated your response. This strikes me as a completely logical and scientific idea.

Even though you might not consciously know about or "feel" it, there must be something in your mind that explains that uncontrollable behavior. Maybe you are more offended by these people acting that way than you think or are willing to admit to yourself? Does it bother you? What are you feeling right now? :p

Honestly, I have no idea, and it's something I've thought about a lot myself. My only guess is that I honestly do think, somewhere deep down that it's funny, but I don't know why.

Probably your sub-conscious, non-temporal self realizes these guys are blooming idiots who are clueless about their phenomenal bad taste in music.

If you ever need to talk your way out of a situation just tell them you were wondiering if one of your professors was an asshole when he was "our age" or if he got to be that way over time. When I heard your music I got this vision of the professor listening to loud rap music in his car like you guys and it just cracks me up. Thanks .. you guys made my day, I was feeling really down because of that @$#% professor until I walked by here ... but from now on, when I think about him I just crack cup...".

It's because their pants are down to their knees, they call each other nigger (even though they're white), and listen to bad music with over powered subs that make their car body/trunks rattle more than you hear music. Oh and their cars are worth less than the audio equipment in them.

I try to laugh as well, how can you not?

Yeah, When I see 25 year old guys going around like that I would laugh out loud if it weren't so sad. It makes me think that there are some benefits to warfare. Of course putting them all on the "B Ark" may be a bit more humane and just as effective (or even more so as idiots sometimes survive combat).

Don't tell me you thought I wouldn't notice?! (I like Douglas joke, that the rest of the population was wiped out by a disease from a telephone, makes me go smiling in $:-\$ this way.)
