First game: upload or not?

I never uploaded my first AGS game because I made it in 2001 and the ags editor ate it.  Still, I probably wouldn't have made it public because it was just another shameless amateur fangame.  I think it's good to show people your first game but not necessarily to dump them into the database where they might receive poor ratings for having shallow to no gameplay or the myriad bugs often plaguing first efforts.  My advice is, as far as the database goes, to practice until you have something you are personally proud of and then post it there. 

If you believe in your work then it's good enough for the database!
