Title: Living in a state of fear
Post by: Layabout on Tue 17/06/2003 03:58:44
I am living in a state of fear.

I am currently seeing a girl who can get me into alot of trouble.

See. This girl is my bosses girlfriend. She also works as a manager for dominos, and is going out with our regional manager. She is also in fear. If she breaks up with him, she is fearful she will lose her job.

She wants to be with me.

I want to be with her.

He treats her like dirt, he knows he has the power over her. It is so unbelivebly cruel. I used to think he was a nice guy, but from what i've heard, he has a very different side when it comes to his girlfriend. He calls her names. He even said to her that she looks like a whore. He wants her to change who she is to suit himself.

And it is so difficult. He is already suspicious. I am not allowed to go to her store. We are not allowed to talk to each other. He wouldnt even let her out of the car when he dropped some stuff off to us.

I do not want to lose my job.

This guy is always one step ahead. The only way to beat him is to be 2 steps ahead. Which is hard. He will think out the answers to questions people may ask him even before they ask him.

It is so hard on me because if we are found out i'm totally screwed. And so is she. We will both lose our job, as he will of coarse find an excuse to fire us both. It is wrong but true. He bought it on himself with the way he treated her.

Every second we are alone we like totally go crazy for each other, even though there is a chance of being noticed by someone who could get back to the regional manager, her boyfriend.

Very bad situation. But even if we didnt do what we have done, he would still be super suspicious. I was banned from her store long before it even happened.

And that is my story for the week.

Layabout out foo...

If memory serves you have been a manager for quite awhile now. With the experience you got under your belt you could get a manager position at some place way better then Dominos by now. I would do so pre-emptive job hunting before you did anything. As for the girl that is a hard thing but it comes down too if she is happy living a crappy live to keep a job or looking for employment elsewhere where she won't be under someones thumb and in fear.

So my suggestion is job hunting...cause you won't wanna live how things are now for very long...If you two get the boot you have something ready to go..Just think of how crappy that guys day is gonna be if Two managers quit...Does he manage both your regions? Cause that would be the coolest kick in the face ever...

We are both in his region. We would both trasfer out of his reason in a second, but she has to wait til she gets her drivers license, which shouldnt be long...

Its all very sekret. We arent even allowed to speak to each other.

Shit Laya, It sounds like a tricky situation, almost like an adventure game, though, come on I bet you love all this secrecy james bond stuff.

But seriously, if he did fire you, or both of you, You could fuck him up with unfair dismissel, and possibly take his job with your experience.

Just lay low for a while, but also make sure she is actually going to leave him, I've heard that one before. You don't want to build it all up too far and find out she just wanted a break from him or test out the situation for a bit of excitement.

You obviously know her better than me, but these situations are allways dangerous, and you can find strange shit out about people that you least expected.

In a dangerous way it all sounds kind of fun, good luck with it all

what if the guy visits these forums ? you should be more careful !
take this advice : your girl could put up a plot and threaten to accuse him of sexual harassment. then he would be forced to resign and you'd both move to haiti, only to discover that the murderer was your brother.

Buy me a plane ticket, I'll take care of the problem..

But seriously,  do the labor laws over there protect you at all in this situation?  You'd have grounds for a lawsuit in this country.

Otherwise, I'd just lay low and watch my back man, this situation could go bad in a heart beat.  Good luck man,  and remember:

This is why one of the biggest rules of dating is never date your boss. It just leads to trouble. Same with co-workers, because if you get into a fight, you still have to work with each other. It's just not a good idea.

Other than that. I'd just suggest you get another job somewhere else, as has already been mentioned. This girl should do the same. Or just slap the guy with a sexual harrasment suit.

For some people, the image is the same.

For othes (like me), you get an anti-bandwidth stealing message from SomethingAwful along with a punishment -- a picture of a black woman sporting a phallus.

I'll never look at Halle Berry the same again -- CURSE YOU SOMETHINGAWFUL!!!

EDIT: After looking at that image, the thread title still makes perfect sense.

EDIT Number 2: Maybe we should just lock this thread seeing as how there's now tons of bits edited, some bits deleted, and someone may have gotten fired.  :-[ :-[ :-[

Oh yeah, and Layabout's problem... ahh.... err.... ummm... You're on your own, dude!!!
