That hidden spoiler puzzle was pretty clever, but it was really hard to make out on a laptop LCD monitor.  I thought it was a smudge at first, and had to tilt the monitor around every which way to make it out  ;D  I was so convinced that the clue had something to do with the modified email or the missing 'The' from 'The Case' that I almost missed it

The general idea is to load it into a paint package and lighten it. I coudn't make it out alone on my monitor, anyway

Right, I made it past that bit last night, and am now onto the mirror of the DOE website. So far the only thing I have noticed is that
Spoiler
when you click on "Doing Business with DOE" the top of the page says "Doing Business with DOJ".

Also on 12/12/00 the site was hacked by 'VB' but that's not so unusual.

Has anyone else noticed anything unusual?

Try and find a list of cases, does one of them seem interesting?

*Look at "The Case" website, it helps with this one*

I assume it has something to do with the Franks case, but I couldn't find contact information for him or the agent working on it, Thompson.

Are you guys trying to solve the puzzles in EvOlVes game: The Case?

Jimi

On the Games In Prodution thing about THE CASE, I found this:

Spoiler
Visit: the case slash the case.

Is that any help?

Archangel (aka SoupDragon)

Yes well done Jimi, that's the answer to the first puzzle. There are many more after that.

Spoiler
You're supposed to e-mail Vance telling him what you found.

Ah ok, I sort of suspected as much but wasn't sure if I should go ahead and try.

I have to odwnload AGS version 2.55!? POO!

EDIT

I downloaded it, but it doesn't work.

Jimi

Spoiler
I opened the game in AGS. I thought the password may have something to do with the fact that it said "my goal could lie behind those doors" and then it said "the end (no, thats not the password". I tried theend in the url, but it didn't work.

Jimi: open the game in AGS and make sure you check EVERYTHING within. You'll know when you spot it.

Hey, it seems weird ME giving advice (especially on this impaticular puzzle).

Jimi

Spoiler
I saw the sprite Password, tried it, didn't work. Played with it in Paint Shop Pro, no luck. :'(

The password is something that all of the sprites has but each is different. If you really get stuck
Spoiler
