...but I found it good for a laugh.
The Secret Diaries of LOTR:

Enjoy!
Found it boring.
Here (http://flyingmoose.org/tolksarc/book/book.htm)'s something much longer that sadly goes in a similar direction, but is occasionally funny. The rest of that site is more worth reading.
QuoteRe: LOTR fans may either find this funny or offensive
How about homosexual people, I wonder?
The first two were quite amusing, but, as Fuzz says, it quickly became very monotonous: ha, ha, so he also was gay! Frodo shagged Gimli!
They were on the right track with Legolas wondering about him being prettiest and Aragorn giving himself points for being manly; reducing everything to (homo)sexual habits of the heroes ruined it, I couldn't read more than 4-5 of the diaries.
Funny.
"Sam slightly out of control. Keeps giving Frodo baths. " :D
It really annoyed me that every member of the party wrote in the exact same style, even down to abbreviating "very" with "v.".
I agree, it was pretty repetitive and the author could've done more with it. But there were definitely parts in which I couldn't keep myself from laughing out loud. I also liked the way there were some side-stories (I.E. favorite color "purple"), etc.
I thought that was dull from the get-go. Matrix: Rejected is much better IMHO.
C.
:(
Maybe I'm just really easily amused.
The "v." got annoying, but other then that, I don't find it unreadable... the style, of cource, but...
"Still not king" hmm...
I blame Geoffkhan personally for any faults in the style of prose. HA!
Bah! Bah, I say.
I tried very hard to feel offended, but couldn't.
I also tried to be amused, but was only mildly.
Bored of the Rings is better - but not much. (Did I get the name right...)
Geoffkhan的日极很没有意思
我写汉字写得太好了!
我懂很多汉字

So back to English, and yes, the diaries are repetitive.
Heh. Yeah, come to think of it they are indeed.
It was late at night went I discovered the website, so I guess I'm easily amused when I'm tired. And when I'm sick, too. Heck, when I'm both sick and tired, I could probably find the Wall Street Journal hilarious.
"Day Twelve:
Went to Saruman for advice about Ring but he had become evil. Nobody tells me anything. Apparently there was a memo. Radagast the Brown probably stealing paper out of my inbox again."
Why couldn'ty the rest be like this? THis is actually pretty funny.
Yeah...
I laughed at the "Sam will kill him if he tries anything" thing every time, but in the end it wasn't funny anymore... I just laughed at it... or maybe it was funny...
I dfin sthi yver das. Yhe, twha elanguag si that? Lal I ese si sbox. Sunles sthi si a ktric....

It was Chinese. You need to set up the Chinese font on your computer in order to see it.
