Title: LucasArts TTF anyone?
Post by: on Tue 28/09/2004 21:50:11
This aer a request, I'm looking to find anyone who may possess or be willing to create a Windows Font of the classic LEC font used in MI, FOA - etc. I'm working on a project that requires speech to be placed in video, the only way I can do that is by using a real Windows font. Does such a thing exist?

Also it'd just be a hella-cool font to have for say, resumes. ;)

:)

EDIT - a font SIMILAR to the LEC one would be as greatly appreciated!

Even if these fonts don't exist (wich I doubt), you can make them: there are lots of font creation programs, some of them are free or shareware.

Cheers, Barb. Those are the type of things I'm looking for but it isn't those fonts.. I could use the CMI font - is there an AGS version too?

Scummbuddy's fonts appear to be fonts you can use IN AGS rather than say, MS Word.

Boris - eee! That requires even a little artistic ability, thats soo not me :o

Wrong!
You can print screen and then trace fonts.

the first one in this page: http://www.antraxja.iweb.pl/font/index.php?show=bit&litera=b&od=9 looks quite similar to me.
Hope it helps : )

EDIT: Or you could try to ask Lucasfan about the lucas TTF fonts he did, too : )

Yep. That "onesize" font on the website Proskrito proposed, is very close and it's a ttf font.
