So I was being all nice and romantic with my boyfriend, lying down together on our bed and just kissing and cuddling and joking around together, and then he gets up to put the kettle on and I go to follow but somehow can't because there's an IMMENSE pain in my shoulder. He spends about ten minutes laughing at the fact he's managed to break me simply by cuddling me, whilst I cry in agony.

My entire right shoulder is stiff and in intense agony, WTF did I do!??

This reminds me of once, when I did a cartwheel and just clipped my little toe off the door... it wasn't even bruised but somehow was SO INTENSELY PAINFUL that I literally couldn't put ANY weight on my left foot for about two days. And everybody laughed at me because I was completely incapacitated after touching my toe on something.

Goddamnit I'm in pain. I can't even turn my head left or right. And it doesn't help that everybody finds it hilarious that I got "cuddled until I broke".

Anybody else ever fall victim to ridiculous injuries that everybody laughs at you for but REALLY THEY ACTUALLY BLOODY HURT A LOT?

Is it good pain or bad pain?

There is a subtle, but real, difference.

I banged my knee off the edge of a table once, just below the kneecap, and although it caused pain, it was a kind of humerous pain that made me laugh.

"owwwowww...heeheehee...owwoww."

I don't mean laugh at my own clumsiness, but that the pain almost results in the same reaction as being tickled.

well i was playing on my guitar one evening while drinking a great amount of alcohol...after some time i reached for the power outlet to pull out the power cord for the amplifier...i was sitting on my bed...fell down and dislocated my shoulder...that hurts SO F*****G much hehe

Yeah it's really fun hot sexy pain, the kind that makes you want to dance except you can't because you're in so much pain. I'm really enjoying it.

On Friday at work, i was trying to do a nice roundhouse kick to show off in front of a co-worker who knows martial arts, and after i lifted my leg and kicked, i felt a really bad pain in my hip. I am out of shape, so i shouldn't have attempted that, but it was funny, and my co-worker got a good laugh too. My hip still hurts.

I once came home with my arm sprained once, and my family laughed at me.

The hospital made a sling out of tissue paper, which ripped as soon as I got on the bus home. Which my family also laughed at.

Never had hot sexy pain before. Sounds like fun.

Maybe you've pulled a muscle in your shoulder. Was your head propped up on elbow while you were gazing into Spaff's eyes? Or where you craning your neck to face him?

Did he shake you vigorously by the shoulders, causing your head to snap back and forth like a ping pong ball?

So many unexplained factors...

Sounds like a pinched nerve to me ...

I get them sometimes just from sleeping wrong.  So getting one from cuddling isn't odd at all.

Give it a day or two.  If it's still there, get a massage.  If that doesn't fix it, time for another trip to the doc.

If I bend my big toe upwards and small toe downwards, something weird happens, and I get funky toe pain until I whack them back together. Generally nobody laughs at me for that.

I get that toething too. And they go stuck and don't come back without the help of the hand. :/
