edit - Im just proud that my report was included, hehehe. What annoyed me was that I couldn't get into the only pub with a late license because they'd been told to close - hehehe!
There were lots of rumours flying, such as a gunman in town, someone with a knife - then someone rang a buddy and they said it was on the news, and that we should get out of town immediatley because there was a bomb...but that was a load of bull. I beleive it was a local chav stabbing someone, possibly a pub bouncer.
Haha, unbelievable. When the BBC Report said "Mark Lovegrove witnessed..." , I couldn't believe what I'm reading. Hope no one got seriously injured though.

Should've said something like this: "Just before midnight, while returning from a hardy session of working on a game with the revolutionary and free might I add AGS game creator done by Chris Jones. Yeah, this takes me back, you know, back in the times of the Adventure Creator, when..." etcetera etcetera and so forth. Come on, man, get the word out!

Reminds me of an insident at the time when I moved into this city of mine. There was something going on betewwn the people from my city, and the people from the city next to it. Well, then someone put a word out at schools and internet, that everyone should come to this sportsfield to fight each other.
Apparently the police found out and when one car arrived at the scene there were over 600 20-14-year-olds fists up. Luckily we're in Finland, and one policecar made the whole mob separate and they went home. That was a lame performance. after that there's been nothing betweenthe two cities. I'm really not sure what the reason even was back then. But it was funny. Someone had their baseballbats with them :)

I wouldn't have been so leniant with those youths! Those English police seem slack to me.
I used to live in Benson(village nearby) and work in wallingford, glad to see the place is still the same as ever, something similar happened there about 10 years ago if I remember right.

Mods, I worked at Servispak on the industrial estate near the old habitat building. I remember going to Rivers a fair bit just before it closed, but can't remember a stabbing there. The one I'm thinking of was another mini riot in the market square, probably 7 years ago not 10, perhaps I'm getting confused in my old age :)
