I shall use this topic to introduce myself. I call myself Last Song; I am a teenage girl, and I've spent several years making PC games. I am new to AGS, but I am a masterful RPG Maker 2003 programmer. The only adventure games I've played are the Monkey Island games and Loom (so awesome!). An interesting thing about me -- I have only one eye. I have to cover me left eye with an eyepatch. Supposedly I look piratey. Arr!
Hello, and welcome. I hope you enjoy your time with AGS. :) It's a very nice community, in the end.
Just a friendly piece of advice, I've understood some people around here are not so impressed with anything related to RPG Maker for various reasons, but I guess all programming experience is good when it comes to AGS.
And something tells me you'll get pointed here (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=28879.0) sooner or later in a more or less polite or not-so-polite way. But that'd be too late already, so I don't quite see the point...
If someone makes games in RPG maker or any other program, I don't think people have any gripes with that. Whatever floats your boat.
However, we don't use the general forum for personal introductions, so please visit the thread Ishmael pointed to, or start a thread that might be of a more general interest.
Anyhow, welcome onboard.
