The squid thing.
In Sharky and George.
I've googled it, and I can't find his name anywhere..
Some pics, to jog your memory:

Please help, before I take to bashing my head open to explore the contents for an answer..
It's driving me crazy.
If I was you, I'd find the intro theme on youtube, as I think it -might- mention their enemies' names in the song.
Ah no, it doesn't. My bad.
Never heard of the show, but the best I can tell Sharky and George were the only characters on the show (Wikipedia + external links). :P
Wow, there is surprisingly little documented about that cartoon. I remember it, enjoyed it quite a bit, but definitely don't remember the Squid mans name...sorry :( Tried emailing sharkyandgeorge.com admins? They surely know, if they've included the pics on their site...
Tricky. All I managed to find out was that in the French original, his name appearantly was "Docteur Méduse" (which would translate to "Doctor Jellyfish"), and that there was an episode entitled "Doctor Jake Eel and Mr. Crab" (which is probably just a pun and/or a reference to a different character). So, if those names don't ring a bell, I'm at a loss.

I thought of that, but I can't find a way of contacting them. It's insane that most other cartoons have loads of details, and all I can find hardly anything about this. I've spoke to loads of people who remeber the show, but can only name the two main characters.
If it helps jog anyones memory, the lived and worked in the City of Seacago.
(Googling that gets me nothing of interest, either).
Its probably something lame like Dr or Mr Squid
The word "tentacles" springs to mind...
I remember this cartoon too, but time has erased all details.
I too tried searching over and over for the name of that squid man. After reading your post, i was determined to find his name to help you out, but to no avail. The internet has failed me.
