"Memoirs of a Super Freak," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, who is producing the upcoming film "Constantine," directed by Francis Lawrence and starring Keanu Reeves, is reportedly in initial negotiations to obtain the rights to begin work on a Paramount film based on James' life.

James, 56, released his most recent studio album, Urban Rapsody, in 1997 and has been working on penning his memoirs for some time. Chappelle has been instrumental in bringing James' name back to pop culture with his impersonation of the musician on his Comedy Central series, "Chappelle's Show".[/qoute]
