Title: Mouse with directinput
Post by: snoopy on Mon 10/04/2006 14:44:33
i can't play any AGD game i get error "no mouse was detected on your system, or yor mouse is not configured to work with directinput. You must have a mouse to play this game."
I know my mouse is working but how do you configure it to work with directinput ?

Maybe it would help to reinstall/update your mouse drivers?

Does your mouse work with every application or game and only with AGS not? Apart from that I can't think of anything.

So far it is only the AGD games that the mouse will not work. It works for everything else.

In that case that's problem in your computer's side, either hardware or software. Did you install some mouse driver which was packaged with the mouse? Sometimes these drivers might not conform to standard and could cause troubles, in that case try removing the driver and see if it's okay to use window$'s generic driver.

BTW... what is an AGD game?
