I just fear that it's so generic and so nice (not my usual style) that it must be stolen or something... Does anyone know if this is a known tune, or my own, please?
(Progz? Right forum? Still unsure...)
I swear that reminds me of something from a children's movie or show or something... but I can't think of what! I even have little scenes playing out in my head but I can't think of what it sounds like.
Very nice anyway, Nik :)
It is generic, it is nice, it doesn't feel like you, but I don't think it's stolen or anything..
Perhaps a tad on the generic side but enjoyable.
It does remind of ... something ... but it's distinctive enough that I couldn't place the memory so it's safe for me!
This would go great as some movie begining, something like an inventor waking up and everything starting automatic like eggs get fried, automatic dog feeder etc.. Either that or some child/animal/chirstmas movie with camera going around the house...
in any case, maybe a tad generic but still offers a mood.
This is a job for..General Discussion!
Unless you want some feedback on the quality of it, in which case it can be moved back :).
Same with everyone, it reminds me of something but can't tell what. It's not bad at all, but I've heard much better things from you before.
By the way, funny name. Is this a part of a "story" or something?
Sounds like classic Toy Shop music to me.
Reminds me of Tchaikovsky. I kept envisioning ballet dancers.
Tchaikovsky could be something, although it doesn't ring an *exact* bell.
Yes, I've done much better. This is chapter 21 from a DVD for kids, thus the silliness of the music. I didn't ponder on adding a few male choirs going "Addus, Dominus, Deus, Sanctus" with a deep voice and maybe some dragon fireball sfx, but then decided to stick to the script! ;D
I did 43 minutes of music in less than 20 days, so production values and general orchestration values are a bit rubbish.
But I do think that this melody is quite catchy and cute and nice and all that, and was pondering on making it maybe some kind of educational tune for 2 pianos, or something like that anyways. And before I do that I did need to check if it's stolen or not. Thus far everywhere I checked everyone says no (but some are reminded of something...).
Thanks guys! ^_^ Definately not my best work in terms of production and orchestration values! No doubt there! ;)
