That was about the best April Fool's joke I've ever heard... xD I was really panicked for like 15 minutes, until I read this thread and remembered it was April Fool's. And then I laughed out loud for about 2 minutes. But even then, I thought it might not be a joke.
Why is it that I usually play all the jokes, but this year I can't think of anything and everybody else is doing great jobs at it?

Not the best CJ has done.

The AGS shareware April fools joke was the best, and probably will never be beaten. Although this one would have been more succesful if CJ had not been lazy and actually released a WMGS beta, which had lots of error when you tried to add 3d characters and stuff. Would have fooled more people.

I don't see why the slight formatting problem is any indication that it's an April Fool, it could well just have been incompetant site design!

I did enjoy the Shareware one, mainly because of all the conspiracy theories that continued well past April 1st, in which people seemed convinced that the April Fool was a cunning trick to test the waters to see who would pay for AGS.

I was discussing with a couple of guys of #ags though - what was the prank last year?

As I recall, the shareware thing & the realultimatepower parody were in 2004 - what was the big thing for April 1st 2005? I think I had it for a while earlier, but I lost it again.

There wasn't one last year, because the Shareware thread was still running and too fresh in people's minds for a new one to work.

I did do an April Fools forum skin but as I recall my hard drive crashed and I lost it, so that never appeared either.
