Title: My anti-drug
Post by: Akumayo on Sat 03/12/2005 16:45:15
I've noticed that many spinoffs of the "anti-drug" campaign have been surfacing lately, so I decided to add my two cents.Ã,  Here's my anti-drug:

(btw, JxTx is the signature I use at school, stands for my first and last names)

No, not really... but it was still fun to make.

what is it supposed to be warning me against? I don't see anything related to drugs, or stewie. Just somebody insulting my mother, or my back.

It's not related to drugs, just stewie really, and it's not YOUR mother, it's supposedly stewie talking to HIS mother.  Don't you watch Family Guy?

Evil: This is totaly off!

I do reserve a little doubt as to what HOOKAH means, but the picture you chose to use is a lovely means of smoking, ordinary smoke, maybe flavoured most of the times, but nothing to do with drugs.

If some people use it for drugs, it would be the same as having a chigarette in its place. It just ain't true. And more than that, I don't smoke or take drugs but do use the
Nargilles (as we and the Middle eastern countries call it). And I have to say it is lovely!

Advice to 18 years or older: Do try it. It is amazing! You can't smoke it anywhere else but in your house or in a caffe (certainly not on a coffee break or in your job), so you avoid smoking too much. The taste is magnificent! I have smoked severall times (+10), and have no addiction at all, but of course can't do it at home because of my children. It feels (don't know if it actually is) much much lighter than the normal chigarette and well... really honestly try it. (<-Only people mature enough to be able to make up their own minds.) I don't want parents coming on to me saying :"WTF did you say to my son... blah blah..."

But tottally off!

Advice to everyone - ignore Nikolas and never even start smoking.

You're right.

Change of advice: Try it but don't start smoking! And btw I was talking about nargiles and not smoking. I detest smokers and smoking. And I did say that there is no addiction and furthermore that there are no studies yet if it is better or worst than smoking.

Well if anyone thinks I should erase my advice I will do it. The minute you tell me to. Or even better maybe a moderator should intefere...

Whatever...

In the United States, there is a flavored tobacco that is commonly smoked through a hookah (also called hookah) that has the same potent power as most marajuanna. It's 100% legal and, in most cases, non addictive. It's probably similar to Nargilles.

Also, it's cheaper then drugs.

But, not that I would know. ¬_¬

Shit! Of course nargiles and hookah are the same. Sorry for that!

Actually it is the nature of the smoking device and not the smoke that does the work. Probably both. The smoke is one fire, constantly with little carcoals and the smoke is filtered by water, natural way, which at least to me does gives me a high head.

Hehe, funny evil.  Did you make it?  If you did, it would look better if you cut the hookah, invert the colors so that black background and white letters show, and then reinsert the hookah.

Actually, seeing as in this country over *80* of new lung cancer patients (of many whom die) each year are caused by smoking, starting smoking is one of the most moronic things you can do to yourself.

It doesn't even get you high! Or make you feel better! Also, If you wanted to fill your lungs up with tar, how about a quicker way? DROWN IN IT.

I've seen too many people's lived get affected by somebody smoking, them or a family member that died.

Smoking is a stupid, moronic, addictive, deadly, expensive habit. It has no bonuses (unless your somekind of nut who WANTS to kill himself) and the only person who wins is the person who runs the tobacco companies. And I bet they don't smoke either.

EDIT: I just realised that you were talking about those insane... things, rather than smoking. My apologies, but still... there is no such thing as a non-addictive drug, except you can't physically get hooked, only mentally. So meh. My opinion still stands.

No, no, no. NO SMOKING. As I said before I detest smoker. I made my wife quit and I'm happy for her (and my children and me and my fmaily). Her father had lung cancer but esacped death 11 years ago (in the age of 49!)

No smoking!

But a lot of insanity please!

Haddas, I knew someone was going to do that, I knew it!  Very funny, I wasn't expecting the bluring TV background though.

I don't know this "anti-drug" campaign.
Can anyone fill me in?

It's a campaign in the US (maybe other places too?)  to try to stop drug use in teens.  It's classic ending scene (after some clip of something that is aimed to make you feel bad) is a black screen, with white, top open, squares containing bold white letters spelling out some word, and below this are the words "My anti-drug".

Ah, I see, thank you!
So a fitting anti-drug-commercial for the initial Family Guy-topic would be:

You mean real ones?  I don't know... I haven't really looked.  You could try google, but you'll probably be flooded with funny fakes.
