My first ever paycheck

I'm quite happy, I earned money for the first time ever, and I enjoyed it. We got the cheque today for our recent gig, which went pretty well. And we made $23.25 each not much, but still, it's the first time I've ever made money. And we're being payed $100 for an opening spot for a band on tour called Bluejuice who are supporting their high roation single. We dont even know how the booking agent found us, but we're the only ones he asked so um. Well I'm quite proud as a matter of fact. Hopefully the band takes off and I can get rid of any chance of possibly becoming responsible for anything Anyway, I just wanted to vent happyness.

Either way, very well done! I sure hope that pretty soon the fee will go up and up. It's also very refreshing to see you keeping at it and keep trying, (and having luck as well).

I never really got a check I just got money paid to me cash or transferred into my account.

My first amount of cash I made was just over a R1000 round about $142 when I was helping out someone in need of a waiter (I made that in tips in one night for about 6 hours There was no basic money to be paid as tips would be the waiters only income) Got to love the drinking folk

Anyway I was still in school and that kept me going for quite awhile. (Movies etc.)

When I actually started working after school I saved the money I didn't give to my mom and bought my PC Which is now I think only still the motherboard, CPU, Monitor & 512mb I haven't upgraded well I added more ram, a new gfx card & a new dvd writer... wait theres more a new mouse,  Headphones & a new case with better cooling solution

Hah yeah, money from gigs is hot. Specially when it's a bloody awful gig.

We always put our cash towards recording, new equipment and beer.

Ahh yes... I started work this summer... no time for AGS but... I did get paid several times... $350 is my biggest two-week draw thus far...
