OK, i rmember this song was the theme tune of a rally program many yonks ago, but i wondered if it is actually a track by a proper artist. So, can the hive mind that is AGS forums please tell me what tune is this?

The first part really really sounds like Loch Lomond.  The rest... I don't know.

I was going to say it reminded me of a church hymn that's still vaguely in my memory.  It doesn't seem to follow any set music theory but more of a "by ear" rendition of one instrument in a song.  I've got no clue.

Indeed, i was trying to stick in in a MIDI program from memory, in a rush so the accuracy of the melody may be a little out. I'll try and hum it later, that will probably be better...
