season four beginning is just great

I hope this final season will reveal us all the secrets and give us great entertainment like previous one.

Besides Mythbusters, Battlestar Galactica is the only show I make sure to watch every week. Best show to come down the pike in years.

Sweet, i have been waiting for this for ages...

The last episode was a huge ass cliff hanger. Almost had me as excited as when the Galactica and the Pegasus were about to fight it out and the episode ended.

I have not read any of this thread ... I just want to say that to those who are contributing to this thread, remember that not all parts of the world are on the same schedule. Some have seen episodes that you haven't, and you've seen some episodes that some haven't.

So I would strongly suggest you use the spoiler tags to prevent ruining the show for anybody. Also ... if you're going to speculate/guess on certain events and/or theories you should do the same.

I will not be reading this thread because even after having said what I just did it's inevitable that somebody will just spit something out that they shouldn't and I'm not having it ruined for me.

So ... common sense (a dying art) ... if in doubt, use the [ hide ] [ /hide ] tags (minus the spaces).

Thanks to internet im able to see those episodes the day after its diffusion and 2 years before the diffusion in my country

I was a great fan of the first BG some 30 years ago and im a great fan of the new one

I'm still catching up with the DVD's, thanks to someone at work who turned me on to the show. I'm in love with it...I almost want to see the old ones, now, but I've been told their pretty cheesy.

I liked the old ones at the time they played here (84), but last year, i watched them again.

Seson 1 isnt too bad, but i definetly prefer the reimagining as far as plot goes.
Baltar hanging out with Lucifer just seems wrong. I prefer the way hes villanised in the new.

However season 2 of the old Galactica is TERRIBLE. They had made it back to earth and were running a bunch of time traveling missions. 3/4 the cast changes if not more, and the writers obviously went in a new direction, a bad one!

I totally agree with you, season 2 was just cheesy.

When referring to BG78 i only think about season1 and forget the second ( another show had the same problem cosmos 1999).
In this new season its terrible that the diffusion is splited.
First half this year, second next year

When I realized BSG had continued, I downloaded the first 3 episodes (relax, it'll definitely show on Dutch TV in a year or so, so I've already paid for it

) and I gotta say this is gonna be a good season.

A lot of the "Urrrr, slow" parts have been sped up. Which is good. In previous seasons, especially Baltar's parts with Caprica Six caused some annoyance and shift-left arrowage (read: skippage).

So far I am pleased
