Although to be fair I never saw any claims about making games "easier than AGS". In fact those forums have a topic called "AGS IS SUCCESS" which discusses how AGS doesn't have
any viruses or anything! Coz you know 99.9% of all programs these days have at least 2 or 3 built-in. :=

secret smileys that are restricted for use in that forum...a few of my favorites include:

Why do you guys give this kid and his forum so much attention? That's exactly what he wants (now his forum actually gets views and probably a bunch of users and replies or whatever - I refuse to click the link). To be honest, every time somebody replied to one of the spam threads he created here I shook my head in disbelief. You're not helping this forum and there are other places which will penalize users that post "in before the lock" like that, for a good reason imho.
The best reaction to all this would be to just maturely let it go. Yes, he's a kid, yes, he can't spell, yes, he fabricated post counts, is that really something new or special or funny these days? To me it isn't.

I knew someone would take that stance so allow me to riposte.
Because its funny and temporary. Trolls are dealt with my moderators fairly quickly and also this particular troll was amusingly stupid, so why not take the opportunity to mock them?
Well, there's our difference. You think it's funny, I don't. If this was a troll that did something original or funny in my eyes, I wouldn't have anything against discussion and a thread like this one.
But, in the end, all trolls want is be mocked and talked about. Why play into their plan?
EDIT: And I agree, the moderators here deal with trolls very quickly and efficiently as they did with this one. Thumbs up!

I do agree with you that we should just let it go and forget about it. But then I must agree it is fun to mock someone too. People will forget all of this tomorrow anyway ;) . In the end this guy got about one day of attention. Wow what a achievement (NOT). ;D
I can fully understand the "don't feed the trolls" attitude ("Never throw chicken at a leprechaun!"), however I can also understand the "funny" side of it. I only posted once in any of his threads and actually accused his site of being terrible before I ever clicked there. The only reason I did visit is because I figured it was probably some practically empty forum and the kid was going around shouting that it was the "best forum ever". I was right.
Minus several billion points on originality, but it's still humorous to me nonetheless that kids think just because they've figured out how to use the interwebz that they have some type of "mad skillz" and are "t3h w3bm4st3r 1337".
The two things I found the most funny were the aforementioned "viruses or sexual behavior" which may be exhibited on sites such as AGS (apparently) and the way that "paul" felt it absolutely necessary to
explain how to type those ASCII smileys. I'll admit, both of those things made me laugh.
The post counts I just like to point out because it's a classic example of "I don't want people to think my site is n00b so I will make it look like I have a ton of posts already". Again not original by any means, but I still appreciate the sheer bloody irony of the fact that in an effort to seem "less n00b" these people actually end up making themselves much more blatantly obvious n00bs. ;D

Well, if you find irritating people in the real world, then the cyber world is no different. But those posts of AndyPenis are funny. So, I guess the only thing making them funny is the anonymity of the poster. I can't imagine laughing at some child on the street if they were saying that.
