Hey guys,
After the horrible experience with Datel's WiFi MAX (don't buy for Wii even though it says, "Perfect for Wii!!!1!!") I've returned it and now am trying to find the LAN adapter made by Nintendo themselves.
I can't for the life of me find it, not even on Nintendo.com. The only ones I can find are the third party versions and I am NOT going through that again.
Does someone know where I can find it?
Oh, and before I forget, does it come with an ethernet cable to connect to my modem or do I have to buy one seperately?
Thanks in advance,

Hmm, where are you from again Snake?
What you're looking for is this:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B000JMJZS2/ref=sr_1_olp_3?ie=UTF8&s=gateway&qid=1201985140&sr=8-3
WYSIWYG! So there's no extra cable as far as I know. I've never actually ordered it off my suppliers (for my shop), but had a second hand one come and go last year, and that had no cables, just what you see on Amazon.
That does strike me as a little expensive, I sold the used one for 11.99, so eh who knows.

Back ordered, so it should be in stock soon. Works fine, regardless of region, apparently.

Temporarily out of stock also.:(
My Datel LAN adapter (£15 from play) is perfectly fine, I've used it in a Wii and on PC for many months, and if you can't find a decently priced Nintendo one I'd say it's worth the risk. Are you sure the Datel Wifi thing was really their fault? Wifi dongles are pretty weak in general and all the Nintendo parts are rebranded generic ones anyway (the nintendo one was by Buffalo I think, and is no longer made). Ethernet is much less prone to messing up, and these things don't need any drivers since they go in the Wii.
If you want other options there are several compatible ones http://www.wiili.org/index.php/Wii_ethernet_adapter
Thanks, guys!
I'm ordering from the US.
I just checked out BestBuy and they actually had one - and it's made by Nintendo! It says that it includes a 6' Patch Cable, is that what I need?
