Thats right
what i thought is a midi creator for DOS in other words, creating music in DOS, but i prefer midi, cause i LOVE midi
Why dos program? No dos midi making programs come to mind, but you could try out the Anvil Studio (http://www.anvilstudio.com). It's free.
First place I'd look is the AGS Forums Search Page (http://www.agsforums.com/yabb/index.php?action=search) ...
I did, and I found these:
What's a good program to make MIDI music (http://www.agsforums.com/yabb/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=5291;start=0)
What is the best music editor? (http://www.agsforums.com/yabb/index.php?board=4;action=display;threadid=8570;start=0)
And there were many more.
And yes, why do you want it specifically for DOS?
i think he may mean an adlib tracker to get that old retro dos sound, problem is that most of those old games used their own sound sets, there's only one dos adlib tracker i know of called RAD Tracker, but i'm not sure where you can download it.
it comes with a lot of example tracks and a few sound samples, but i don't think it saves as .mid, so it's probably no use if you want to make music for use in games.
Or better yet try google.

Alot of hits. Dunno which would be useful but scanning them suggests that there might be something there
In one thread he said he only uses dos so I dont know of any
look, i only have one computer, and that computer can only run DOS, i have been playing with it and i find DOS really interesting, so yeas i only have dos but i find dis one of the best in the world(after Linux)

i tried google, searched for: "music creation program for dos"
it got some but i didn't check them all
You asked for a DOS version....
Edit:
Um, I did have quotes originally Scumm, but I deleted them by accident...
Edit (more OT stuff)2
Yeah I would recommend you try some of the google links, google is a valuable tool
hotspot, i thought the same thing, and prepared a really funny response full of quotes and such, but in this case, he was referring to the agsforum search: in that no one else was asking for a dos program, so the search results, in his opinion, werent pertinent.
i did try to find iMesh(the one used in MI2 and FoA)but the only thing i found was some file netwotrk sharing or something.
it will take some time, but i have a question
How in the world did lucasarts create they'r language, i mean there wheren't any C or C++ or any like that so how did the create SCUMM or the script language to create music?
they can't use qbasic for that, so what did they use
C.
I have nothing to say except that that is the greatest single-letter-post anyone has ever made.
And there are only like 25 alternatives to it.
