Batman: "Here, Robin, swallow this."  *hands him a pill*
Robin: *gulp*

Yeah. . .somehow I don't think I would *ever* be that trusting, even of a superhero.  That actually happened in the Batman movie.

Heyo, all...this is actually kind of a brainstorming thing for me, related to my current game project, so sorry if it's in the wrong forum section or something.  But I wanted to see if people could think of strange and comical things a sidekick might need to do to prove him/her self to their hero.  It could be during the course of their career together, or during initiation to prove they *should* be a sidekick in the first place, anything.  Any ideas?

Show initiative - show the hero he/shne can handle him/herself in a certain situation

I think the superhero would give the sidekick an oral exam

Robin isn't trusting here. Being Batman's sidekick, he simply knows that Batman is the strongest in the Gotham City so he could could beat him up if he refuses.

I think to prove himself the sidekick should have to be able to trust the hero so much that he'll even swallow some unknown pill for him ... :P

MMMM, Iam just wondering was a blue or a red pill?

Supposedly it was a pill to make them immune to the Penguin's gas, which Batman knew he was about to use in a minute. . .still, if I'd been Bats, I would've used that as a lesson plan for not being stupid.

"Here, swallow this!"
*gulp*
"And now we'll discuss the consequences of blindly trusting people in spandex.  You have five minutes to make an antidote while we talk."
