Need tech help with discworld 1

Hi! I cannot save any games in discworld 1. I write the namee of the savegame, click ok. Then when I try to load, the slots r empty.  So are the save game slots! I tried transferring the game to c drive, but doesn't help! Please help me. Send me an email. Shd I change some parameters in the config.bat file. The save folder is there, but all empty.

I don't know what would be the cause of this. If you transferred the game directly from the cd rom drive, then the saved slots wouldn't be able to be overwritten because they become read-only when they are taken from a cd. Also, you can't save on a cd (duh). But you said there are no saved games in the folder and that the game is already on the c drive.  Check if you have enough free space on your drive, or uncheck "read-only" from all the files just to be sure (I doubt it, but ya never know. I had a similar problem with RTCW and it worked, I suppose it's one or two files that can't be read-only).
