Congratulation, man; that's fantastic news!

By which I mean it's fanastic that your games have been delayed; I'm far too heartless to care about yet one MORE puny human!

Congratulations. There's nothing like being a father. Now, just don't let them play flashbax until they're 26...

This parenting is harder than scripting in ags...

Congratulations! ^_^ I'm so not a baby person myself but I do love when other people have them (because it's the fun with no nappy changing or responsibility!).

By the way, good name choice. No Xerox's or other crazy crap names for you.

I'm sure having a baby is much more difficult than scripting in AGS - you can't just tell the baby to 'Stop running more commands' at night. We should start a new thread - Why AGS is easier than taking care of children.

Maybe you can use your knowledge of scripting to help with parenting! Like

FeedBaby(5);

or

if(IsBabyCrying(1)==1)
 NoSleep(8);

But seriously, congratulations and good luck!!  ;)

You forgot...

If (isbabycrying(1)==NO){
HOLD BABY AND LOOK LIKE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU`RE DOING
}
else{GIVE TO MOTHER AND SLEEP IN THE SPARE ROOM}

...

Petteri: Once again your avatar lifts your message to the next level ;)

Congratulations Foz!
Couldn't help but notice that he's going to be called the same as the main character in my game-project. So in a way we both are the proud fathers of Jack. Scripting will, however work on making MY Jack behave. ;)

The topic title makes me wonder if anyone has an old baby.....

Congrats, foz!

I've got an old baby...

Theres nothing cuter than a old baby, smoking his cigar, reading dirty magazines and downing a bottle of tequila... awwww... how cute!

Anyway, enough about the old baby, onto the new... congrats Foz on the bambino... it's kinda odd, because I always seemed to picture you as a 14 year old or close to that. :P

Os àšltimo Quão Queijo ^_^:     14 year old going on 34 year old.....

My mental age is probaly 8 years old....

Thats why i left having children til now as i never really felt like i was old enough to be a dad, as i still fooled around like a teenager....

This baby as made me even consider making flashbax a bit less obscene...

The wanking scene will now just have the guy reading a computer magazine..

I might change the severed hand too....

So you guys with the original version d/loaded will be the only people to have it as i originally made it..

The D/load link will change in a few days.

Maybe even Vel will like the new remixed version.....but we won`t go in to that again....thanks.

Thanks to all your congrats...

OSC: what do you mean.....

That this is just a elaborate p.r stunt......

So i take it i need to post a photo of my driving license....proof of age ..

A photo of my son ....maybe he could be playing flashbax in the photo...

The toning down of FLASHBAX is as of the result of the editor of german computer mag `BRAVO SCREENFUN` asking to publish it on their coverdisc.....now being a father i thought that it needed some censorship as he said the target readers are kids.......wanking and cuting off hands seemed a bit much if the reader has not got a choice about D/loading....I don`t think the Editor of the mag had played it right through....so he did`nt know..

laters foz..

Don't take out the severed hand!!

Although the wanking scene probably isn't the best for a target audience.

Kids are so used to seeing animated violence that it's no big deal. I'm not saying that this makes it good, or wholesome or anything like that, but kids are going to see things 10 times worse at the movies, on TV, in comics, on other computer games etc. And a severed hand, really, isn't that gross if you think about it. I mean - all the time on the news you see reports of people who've had arms bitten off by sharks, and you cringe for a moment, and then you're over it.  Most kids are far more shocked by heads.

As I said before, however, taking out the naughty scene is probably good. Research shows that the male genetalia (particularly while it's 'in use', so to speak) is one of the most disturbing images a child will ever see.

Hmm... since when did this thread become about my research and not about a baby boy??

P.S - Jack is a cool name. If ever meets a girl called Jill, however, keep away from the well....

Congratulations, Foz!  Best of luck to you and your wee one.  And I'm glad that fatherhood has had such a positive impact on you.  Removing "that" scene from Flashbax is a good idea.  :)  But keep the severed hand.
