A new quote DB has just been created similar to Bash.org for the #AGS irc channel...

Great idea! I think some if not all of Annie's quotefile should go in it, too.
:P

Minus the crap ones. Her quality control can be lax some times :D.
Just looked at Bash. Most is not too good, but some are great:
"Women are like domain names: all the good ones are already taken, unless you go to some remote foreign country"
and
"There are 10 kinds of people in the world: those that understand binary, and those that don't"
LOL (literally)
Yeah well obvously while we moderate we can make sure only the QUALITY ones remain....
as for Essebs comments i think he just wants Annie after him ^_^
It could be... luff ._.

FIFTY-THREE GOD DAMN QUOTES ADDED BY ME!
* veryweirdguy has too much time on his hands...
And you'll notice that a lot of the ones I added have me in them, but that's because I was there for all of them...
Very nice work. It's simple, and that's the way I like it.
The only thing that bothers me is the quotes themselves. They're... too long! I prefer short, witty comments instead of long silly / me battles, but maybe that's just me... :)'
edit:
(how do you type "/" and "me" together without triggering the action?)
HA! Talking Beer Can! I love it!
I'd rather NOT have my quotes put in there, crap or not. Those took a lot of time weeding them out from the logs. So I'd prefer them to remain in the original quotefile compilation. ._. k
The original quotefile will remain seperate and will continue to be updated so I hope its not a case of this thing taking over the quotes altogether. :P
um... jeeze guys
who's posting about 20 minutes of conversation?
i always assumed a quote was a small tidbit of conversation that was exceptionally funny. not the entire day's worth of conversation
if you moderate it there won't be many quotes left
eric
Yeah I agree, I prefer the short witty ones , remember its only just been built today, once Me & Annie start moderating it and chucking out the crap (EG half a days chat log /me stares at vwg
) then it should be short sweet and as tasty as an bacon double cheeseburger.
Mmm I'm hungry.
I actually made it into a quotefile of some sort.. I'm astounded. And.. I feel special.. ;D
Actually, I think by 'crap ones' Essie poo means the ones he features in. I'll go edit the quotefile right now, I have no idea how those slipped in! ._.
I took it for a test drive necro, nifty programming. The one I had was just a basic submission system. The voting and stuff is cool. :)
Edit: I can spell. ._. No really, I can!
Yeah, I suppose I went a little overboard with the longer quotes, but for some of them (eg the talkingbeercan one) the whole segment is necessary to understand the joke. Perhaps longer ones like this don't suit a quotefile like this, just shorter ones.
Sorry.
Also, I noticed that one featuring me is at the top of the top 10! w00t!
(Note: may have changed by the time you read this)
Well no matter, you can now not only vote em down the ranking but also mark them for the shitter.
veryweird is in far too many quotes :P
*Starts to feel left out will someone tell me how to get to this chat?

( ( ( <( -_-)> ) ) )
You get to it like this;
http://www.agsforums.com/acirc.htm
n3tgraph - that's because I DONATED far too many quotes :P
Anyway, I could re-organise a lot of my quotes to only post the 'one-liners' if you want?
Psst, it's not funny if you submit your own quotes. It's like people laughing at their own jokes. That and people who do silly "" signs with their hands.
A "" sign? What's that?
"this"
/me makes gesture
Bah -- all the quotes on there are no match for this mighty AGS/bash.org tidbit:

Eh? People are submitting made up quotes!?
Wtf! ._.
