Has anyone seen or heard of this?

I thought Clerks was hilarious, working in retail myself. I wonder how this one will be.

Check out their forums, under chatter and Kevin's posts.  You'll see stuff there about 'The Passion Of The Clerks'

I've been hitting the ViewAskew.com since 1996 myself!!!

After 'Jersey Girl', my devotion to Kevin Smith has dropped considerably (but I'm still buying everything he makes on DVD, mostly because of the hilarious commentaries). Yes Kevin, we understand that you're a father now and that you love your daughter. Now please stop making movies about it. Just give us another Mallrats or Chasing Amy (anything starring Jason Lee, really - what happened to that Fletch project?).

Kinoko

Blech! I can't STAND Kevin Smith or any of his stupid films ^_^

That's my two cents.

If this thing is anywhere near half as bad as his last monstrosity (Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back), then I'm all in favour of assasinating him before this movie goes ahead.

Kevin Smith has knocked out some decent bits of dialogue, and Chasing Amy was entertaining enough in its doesn't-want-to-admit-it's-just-a-generic-romantic-comedy way, but come on! The guy just isn't a very good filmmaker! He's just a passable sit-com writer with ideas above his station.

I could've sworn he said he'd never do another Jay and Silent Bob movie, but given that every time he tries to broaden his horizons it ends in disaster, I guess he doesn't have anything else to fall back on.

It must be hard not to relentlessly milk your fanbase when your fans are so ridiculously easy to please. Looks like it was too hard for Kevin.

I personally can't wait for Passion of the Clerks (And the eventual Clerks Animated Movie). I'm a huge fan of Kevin Smith, and personally think he's an excellent filmmaker. His best work, in my opinion, is Chasing Amy. The fact that he was able to get away with putting Jay and Silent Bob in only one scene, and having the audience not miss them the entire movie was definatley a step forward for him (Though I love the characters).

I think Kevin Smith is overrated. Sure, he can write damn fine dialogue, but he has 0 directing talent.

He cannot direct actors, he can't do action sequences (like he admits), and he doesn't add anything interesting in photography.

But I'll still watch this movie ;)

I have liked most of his flick and this one sounds like fun so...

I loved kevin smith's movies and comics!
though I haven't heared much good news about jersey girl, it isn't in theaters yet over here so I'll have to wait...

Kinoko

His dialogue sucks >_< It's just like listening to Kevin Smith's Live Journal.
