This is a pretty funny prank actually, it had me going for... six seconds.

And FYI, Wintermute I *think* is a free 3D Adventure Game maker. You know it's fake because the bit unter the glowing "wintermuteengine" bit doesn't actually fit in.

Now, let's go find CJ and batter his skull out.

Wintermute is another free adventure game engine, which actually seems pretty cool. Maybe not as easy-to-use as AGS, but its graphic engine is obviously superior and faster. It also has 3d character support.

When I saw the colours I was surprised and thought this was a new design. Then I saw "wintermute", I immediately figured out it's an April's Fool joke.

I'm really sorry if this has been brought up already, but what on earth has happened to the colours on this site? The white text on the black is just annoying

What are you talking about? studies have shown that thin white text on black backgrounds is more readable that smooth blue on black text.

My 1000th post and it's about how freaky the new colors look. Who knew it would come to this.

I also thought that I've been redirected to some sort of gothic forum. "Wintermute Engine" actually could be one of those fantasy-goth-cyber-metal-bands.
