Channel 4 - Swearing

Out of interest, did anyone manage to save off the flash file Channel 4 had on their website.  It was an advert in the current Channel 4 style of asking TV Stars their favourite colour, food etc but this one asked them their favourite swearword.

As I said, they had it on their website for a while but it seems to have gone now, and nothing shows up in Google.

Clearly, good sir, you are a less-than adept googler; on the first page of my search, I found several mirrors of the file; I've not checked them all, but this one definately works.

I caught it on TV the other night, too; FilmFour, rather than Channel Four, and just before midnight, but amusing nonetheless.

I saw that movie as well, and being a non-UK-er, I just want to ask... What was the point of that ad? It was fun, but did it ever actually air on TV?

Channel 4 is running a series of promotions that show all the celebs that they have on their channel.  In each one, they basically just ask each one what their favourite 'X' is and film the answers.  I'm not sure if that one was ever on TV, but I'd bet they bleeped out the C word if it was.

I never thought I'd see Judy Finnigan say 'F**k'.  Muahaha!

Well, if you'll actually READ WHAT I WAS SAYING BEFORE (impudent fools!) you'll notice I mention that it has been on TV, as I saw it; it was unbleeped.  However, it was just before midnight, and on the subscription-only FilmFour, rather than the free, terrestrial Channel 4 (however, another advert in the series in which the question was 'What would you like to do before you die' and Sharon Osbourne's answer was 'I'd like to fuck a black man' has been aired on Channel 4, so it's just 'cunt' which seems to be deemed offensive).

Besides, it's caused such a stir online that even if it hadn't been aired on TV it could still be considered a succesful piece of marketing.
