I use the internet at my university, but they just updated the firewall. Now I can't see any pictures that go through anonymizer. I can't even see my own avatar! I don't remember what I look like anymore...
So to sum up, does anyone know where I can get free webspace that allows remote linking?

Heh Ali, I get the same thing at work. Uni's connection is really lax though, you can even visit crack sites like cracks.am without any problem.
I am currently using www.villagephotos.com (http://www.villagephotos.com), the main restrictions about free account are that:
1. You can only hold up to 25 images (if you need to add more, you can delete old ones first)
2. The bandwidth/day limit is quite low, so it's definately NOT suitable for Avatar hostings.
