Hot Diggitty Daffodill!
OH MY GOD!!!!!
I was so excited I couldn't even type my name in to login here to reply to this post.
ARGH!!!!!!!
I KNEW IT! I NEVER LOST FAITH!
o_o Excuse me while I go away and sob tears of joy.
yeah o/
Sweet Merciful Crap!
I have been blessed with a second chance!
Sweet. Now, bring back larry vales. :=
(that biggest excuse ever to use that smiley)
Scummie, I'm a bit disappointed you're as close to Futurama as you are.Ã, Moreso that you're link is via Billy West (Greatest voice actor.Ã, Ever).
But, more importantly..
FUTURAMA? BACK?
I'M SO EXCITED I WANT TO CRAP MY PANTS.
AGAIN.
EDIT: I meant to say disappointed that you're that close and never told me.
I can't put my feelings in words!
Wohooo! :D
Futurama movies? Why not more TV eps... :( But futurama is futurama :)
WHOA!!! not just a feature length movie, but 4 of them!!!
I really really hope they do a commentary track on all of them like with the dvd-box sets.

Yeah, this happy baby!
4 movies... 100 minutes per movie... That makes like 400 minutes, close to 20 chapters. Enough to develop the stony and finish it propperly... Cool! :D
Yes. And for family guy fans there's a talkshow coming out... hosted by Stewie. It will be online only.
Bender is my most favourite character EVER. The voice is perfect. the evil laugh...
Still, some more eps of Futurama wouldn't hurt. They've only just started showing them here at a reasonable time, and I can't even get my hands on a season 1 or 4 DVD box set (I got 2 and 3) but it's left me thirsty for more! I can't believe they ever stopped making it in the first place.
That is great news!
My DVD boxsets of Season 3 & 4 arrived just this week, so the timing was pretty cool too. I'm pretty sure that's the only reason Billy decided to release this news.
I'm almost 99% certain.
Well, judging by the quality of the Family Guy Movie, I won't be holding my breath for this one.
Well, they're done by different people CJ and FG had further to fall ;)

I wouldn't call it a movie. It was more of a really long episode.
3 episodes which were meant to go into series 4, each episode also written by a different person.
Sweet!
But will Futurama will work as a movie?
And, more to that point, will it work as
four movies?
I am curious - in all meanings of the word!

Right, thanks!
Anyways...
This is Billy West's word, which is pretty good for me. However, we have yet to hear any official word from Fox, the buddies funding the project. For any reason they could cancel this, but hopefully that won't happen. They are probably looking to ride another wave of success that Family Guy had. I still can't believe its a possible 4 movie deal. Last I heard was that it was 1 movie, with a possibility of 2 more if the first one did well. That still may be the case in this 4-picture deal, but just things getting set in motion makes me so happy.
I am glad to see that there are other Futurama fans here, by the way. We can be nerds together... well, nerdier. AGS kinda brings that out in us already.
(takes darts out of 20th century fox poster)
more zoidberg fun wooohooo!!!
this is awesome. i bought all four seasons of futurama and i've seen each one of them at least 5 times.
omfg teh wee ^_^
I think futurama is so much funnier than the simpsons and am glad that it will be making a return. I'm definatly going to buy that 4 dvd movie dealy that was metnioned.
swooh!
I also am quietly pleased.

I sure hope, they won't be that big assholes, to cancel it!
I just remember, I heard something about a simpsons movie, too.
It is supposed to be released, before the show is at it's end.
about two years ago I heard a rumour that the simpsons movie was due for release in 2006, this was from some radio station, so it could have been an accurate deadline back then, but probably unlikley now.
Yeah, found more infos about that:

Yeah, we know theres not going to be more seasons, but the movies are still, probably, most likely on the way.
We can hope. :-\
Good news, everyone!
Futurama... the series... not just the movies... BACK!

Very interesting how they're going to be played on Comedy Central in the US...
Also,
FUTURAMA IS BETTER THAN FAMILY GUY! ;)
... I hope it doesn't jump the shark on this new season.
I broke the news on Tv.com and on GotFuturama.com
I was soooo excited, I almost wet the bed while watching Craig Ferguson, which I never do normally, I just was lucky that I was flipping through channels right when he was introducing his next guest, Katey Sagal. I was interested, and decided to watch, hoping for some mention of Futurama. She was there to promote some movie I can't remember, and at the very end, right before they were out of time, Craig brought up Futurama, and then I just thought she'd mention the DVD movies, but not so. She said that there were episodes in the making, and I was a tad skeptical at first, because she seemed to have not really known what she signed, so I just assumed it had to do with the publishing rights to air the already been seen episodes on Comedy Central, but hey, it turns out Comedy Central is producing more. Praise the Space Pope!
Now someone needs to bring back Clone High from the dead, and we're in buisness!
"Yah! Zoidberg is the popular one now!"
"Oh Crap, its a miricle!"
Glad to hear it, hope they air it in Canada!
Yay, Futurama! ;D
